NAPLES AND POMPEII JUNE 2017

Naples and Pompeii  June 2017

 

 

Naples is a scruffy interesting city, not a lot to see or places to visit, it’s not a tourist spot other than to visit the museums and to a bass to go see Pompay . it’s the only city in the world I have been to where an attempt to pick pocket me was attempted, however it was not an Italian but an immigrant that attempted it . the restraints do not  make an attempt to welcome none Italian speakers into them with no different language  minuses, and it was just too much of a hassle to go in and battle with the  language. The Hotel we stayed in was Great and the staff very friendly.

Do not bother with buying a a Ture to Pompay, it’s a lot cheaper to just get a taxi there and back, from Naples, if I had done my research, it would have been better to get a hotel around Pompeii and travelled into Naples. We walked around some of the old back streets during the day which was interesting, but was warned not to do that at night. As they have a high immigrant crime rate.

Three days is sufficient in Naples to see what there is to see.

Pompeii , itself id amazing but again I wished I had been there on my own to just wonder about and not on a guided tour, if fact I plan to return to have a better look on my own and to Just spend a time wondering around, it’s an amazing place, that I first sore in a history book at school that began a dream to visit there one day, and when that day came it was everything I wanted to see and wish to see and experience more of.   Plus I wish to visit  Herculaneum as on the same trip to Pompeii.
